Law The bodies were found early Monday on a dirt road known as Locklair Road between 1-95 and US 341 Both were apparently the victims of multiple bullet wounds the woman shot in the chest and the man in the head Both vjctims were described as being white and in their early 20s The man was about 6 feet tall weighed 150 to 160 pounds had shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes He was wearing blue jeans a red Coots T-shirt and sandals He was also wearing an Accutron watch and a gold ring with a tiger eye setting The woman was wearing a pink halter top white blouse and cutoff blue jeans She bad medium length brown hair with a reddish tint and bluish-gray eyes and was about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighed about 100 pounds Sheriff 's deputies are still waiting for someone to give them the identities of the two young people found shot to death early Monday morning on a dirt road near 1-95 about 25 miles east of the city Bulletins containing descriptions of the two have been sent to other states and missing persons reports are being checked to see if any descriptions match those of the bodies do have more solid information since the autopsies have been completed" Chief Deputy TL warrants served on Funderburk last Friday That warrant charged him with forging the name of Larry Ford to a payroll check on the 30th of June 1976 and then exchanging it for cash at the Citizens and Southern National Bank The 10th charge made against Funderburk that of obtaining money under false pretenses resulted from timesheets which he allegedly turned in for these four employes These timesheets the warrant said the issuance of payroll checks of $41945 while these persons were not employed by the City of Sumter SC and did not perform any duties or labor for these funds and did then and thereafter cause and forge the names of said individuals to these payroll checks and then cashed same and converted the monies to his own Dates on the checks covered by these timesheets were for July and August of last year The four original forgery warrants include the charge of forging the names of these employes on payroll checks ranging in amount from $10759 to $12508 Each check was dated June 30 1976 and was drawn against a city account at the South Carolina National Bank and exchanged for cash at the Citizens and Southern National Bank attorney Harry Wilson has said that a
