war Rudolph was a member of the fabled team of Wernher von Braun at Peenemuende the secret German rocket development center on the Baltic Later he was in charge of V-2 Rocket production at what was captured by American troops and the von Braun team was brought to America to work Rudolph worked far the army and for NASA At NASA he was one of von top lieutenants in the Apollo program and he managed the development of the Saturn the very large booster rocket that launched American astronauts to the moon Several years after he retired Rudolph was accused by the Office of Special
