Bailey Hostess To Gleaners' Class Cpl. Thomas P. Cahalan, of the Pennsylvania State Police, will be the guest speaker, by special request, at the annual safety meeting of the Foremen's Club of York, to be held at 6:45 p. Jan. '31, in the YMCA auditorium.

Two the latest sound slide films, produced by the National Safety council, "Learn and Live" and "Keep It Clean," will be shown. Certificates will be presented to companies participating in the club's 1944 inter-plant safety contest. Honor and Merit banners will be unveiled. Recognition will also be accorded individual members of the club who operated their departments without a loss-time accident during 1944. The club orchestra, under direction of Chester Livingston, will furnish music, and Morton Laurie, tenor soloist, will sing.

The president, Russell E. Long will have charge of the meeting. Routine business was transacted in a meeting of the Gleaners' class of St. Paul's Lutheran Sunday school last night at the home of Mrs. W.

Symposium Held By York Camera Club The York Camera club featured a symposium or series of illustrated talks on the various branches of photography by the members at the semi-monthly meeting last night in the club rooms, 269 West Market street.

Norman A. Kitchen, president, spoke on the subject "Print Finishing and Mounting." W. C. Goughnour discussed "Lenses" and Frank Pensinger explained the many angles of flash photography. The Eastman wash-off relief method of producing natural-color prints was described and illustrated by Jack Neff, and Jack Magor talked on "Photography of Moving Objects." Progress is being made in outfitting the club's new darkroom, which will be available to all members when completed.

St. Paul's WMS Has Mission Study Class "The Indian in American Life" was the study topic of the Women's Missionary society of St. Paul's Lutheran church last evening at the Mission Study class held in the church parlor. Miss Jeane Gardner and Mrs. Howard Swartz were in charge.

The discussion for the evening was led by Mrs. G. Edward Swartz. Devotions were in charge of Mrs. Lillie Diehl.
