on one of our young clerks Sunday night He bought a cut glass bottle of cologne water with a glass stopper and pink ribbon to present to a young lady lie is keeping company with but on reaching the The Tribune tells a sorrowful tale of how a German with his wife and two children arrived in Chicago and how the German was arrested by a policeman for holding his hat during a scrimmage and sent to Joseph county Michigan were stolen some time since and no trace of them could be found At last the Deputy Sheriff of the county received an anonymous note stating that il tie would call at a certain street and number in Chicago would be informed where he could negotiate for the stolen He came accordingly and found that the directions received brought him to the office of the rather legal
