Everett and was sentenced to six years in the Ohio penitentiary Yesterday morning when arraigned with other indicted prisoners White had pleaded not guilty of the robbery of the Rousculp store in the St Johns highway Mortar nearly an inch thick had been removed from one side of the stone and marks indicated that the stone soon would have been pried loose to create a hole in the wall through which escape would have been easily effected Sheriff Sarber declared Progress in removing the mortar was hidden by dish clothes hung along the wall In a search of the cell room Sheriff Sarber and deputies found a two-edged saw which had been filed from a steel support of the mattress of cot and a file Several long heavy wires a gimlet improvised from twisted wire and a wooden handle of a bucket and an improvised blow torch also were found Disinfecting fluid had been used as fuel for the torch Inspection of the jail revealed that the walls had been probed apparently to discover the mortar between
