The only trouble vrith Elvis says Dolores, is that he's constantly put it. a position of shooing off that makes him look very conceited, which he isn't," she says defensively. "Girls can get pretty silly, and it is embarrassing sometimes to watch how they throw themselves at him," He tries to cover up some of this attention, so he doesn't look too ridiculous, but it's a hard job. "But worse than that, Elvis never knows whom to believe--he doesn't, know whether a girl is impressed by his looks and pocketbook or whether she really likes him for himself," the says. Dolores has never dated Elvis, and wouldn't be interested in him romantically.

"We are different religions, and when 1 settle down it will be for keeps. I want to have a family, too, when I get married, but so far 1 haven't met anyone who can fill the bill." Although Dolores thinks that she and Elvis could hit it off, she says: "What's the sense of tempting fate?" She thinks men they dislike Elvis because they are jealous of him. "Most men think Elvis is scatterbrained because they don't really know him. When we played in this last movie, 'King Elvis would stay up ail night making recordings and then appear on the set mentally prepared for his role, and alert in every way," Dolores was born in Chicago and received a scholarship to Marymount College in West Los Angeles, she enrolled as a theater arts major.
