having the ball within eight inches of the Peoria line when the whistle was blown for the end of the game To unprejudiced bystand era it seemed that the timekeeper was -a trifle anxious to end the game with another score for the Maroons imminent Maroons Outweighed Champaign high was outweighed at least 10 pounds to the man and the visitors were not only big but they were 'well coached Their 'forward passes were almost perfectly executed and in the second and third periods they seemed to bewilder the Maroon's defense Major Maroon quarterback and captain scintillated for Champaign making both of the touchdowns and showing excellent generalship At least three times his tackles prevented touchdowns Pickins also showed exceptional ability Zinser left half on the Peoria team was the first to score for the visitors grabbing a punt in the second period and running 75 yards for a touchdown Zinser will be recalled as one of the etar forwards of the Peoria basketball team in the state
