Cagers Meetj By ITall Dobbim iwwrnMi Sporte Editor The time is ripe for the annual review of the East-West grid classic. Saturday when Huskers Ed llusmann and Bobby Reynolds trot out on Kezar Stdium sod in San Francisco they will be the S4th and 35th of Nebraska gridders involved in this worthy charity classic. Ed Weir, who captained the 1924 and 1925 NU squad was the first to be named but did not compete because participation in the event would have made him ineligible for the Scarlet track squad. Sauer Greatest of the Husker stars to perform and gain the plaudits of the fans and the press was George Henry Sauer. Sauer scored two touchdowns in the 1934 game to lead West to a 12-0 victory.
