Of Leases Used By Major Oil Companies Misleading, Lawyer Testifies Protection For Owners Asked Oct. 4 (U.R) JTypcs cf leases used by major oil companies mislead private land owners and tend to jeopardize their Interests, Robert C. Knox, Eldorado, lawyer, testified before the fconopoly investigating committee foday. Knox said oil companies lease lands "with the intention of delaying and controlling the time and rate of oil development."
