He has been married to LuAnne Pritchard for 63 years. Robert retired from farming in Tama County after many years. Their family includes a son, Rod (Lisa) Pritchard; two grandchildren, Sam (Katie) Pritchard and Ben Pritchard; and a great-grandchild, Clare Pritchard. Their children include Craig (Tami) Cahill of Califonia, Colleen (Tim) Tierney of Waterloo, and Gary (Sheri) Cahill and Jeff Cahill, all of Colorado; nine grandchildren, Chelsea Diehl, Cole Tierney, Connor, Hannah, Gar- rett, Paige, Colin, Blake and Cory; and two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Parker. John and Doris enjoy spending time with their family, friends, traveling and gardening. They recently celebrated with a cruise around the Hawaiian Islands.
