jfV Mayfoir Heights Christmas Bazaar 5 will be held December 6 at church Nuptial vows exchanged November 23 by Patricia Rainbolt, Monty Monteith WI 2-4710 Kathy Baker NORTHWEST NEWS Thursday, November 29, 1962 Marriage vows were solemnized at 7:30 p.m. Friday, November 23, for Miss Patricia Ann Rainbolt and Monty Lee Monteith. Reverend John Moody officiated at the ceremony in the Putnam City Baptist Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

J. W. Rainbolt, 6206 N.W. 37, Bethany, and Mr. Monteiths patents are Mr.

and Mrs. A. G. Monteith, 4304 N. Wheeler, Bethany.

The altar was decorated with baskets of red roses and candelabra holding white tapers. A The annual Christmas Bazaar of the Mayfair Heights Methodist Church will be held from 10 a.m. til 3 p.m. Thursday, December 6, at the church; 3131 N.W. 50.

The public is cordially invited to attend. A turkey dinner will be served from 10 until 2, and the price is $1. per person. Frank H. Streetmans select baby's name Mr.

and Mrs. Frank H. Street-man, 7241 N.W. 21, Bethany, have selected the name Craig Thomas for their son who was born November 8 in Baptist Memorial Hospital. Their other son is Charles Streetman, 416.

Mrs. Streetman, the former Miss Carol Ingram, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William B. Ingram, 3105 N.W.

34, and the paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Streetman, Sa-sakwa.

Maternal great grandparents are the J. M. Ingrams, 4308 N. Peniel, Bethany, and Mr. and Mrs.

L. R. Dorsey, 3815 N. Hartford. Paternal great grandmother is Mrs.

Chloe Finney, lGen-dale, California. Among the gift items which will be on sale at the bazaar will be bathroom bouquets, corduroy holiday aprons and artificial poinsettias. There will also be a large selection of bows for Christmas gift-wrapping. Also for sale will be homemade candies, jams and pellies. The Bazaar is sponsored by the Womens Society of Christian Service of the church.

Mrs. Cecil Patrick is president of the society, and Mrs. Herb Milburn is Bazaar chairman. Mrs. William C.

Woodward is in charge of the dining room. Chairman of thee Decorations Committee is Mrs. Harold Ashworth, and her committee includes Mrs. Pete Clark, Mrs. Oscar Stoner, Mrs.

Ed George and Mrs. Roy Wade. Mrs. Patrick will have charge of the kitchen, and she will be assisted by Mrs. Bill Bush, Mrs.

Charles Johnson, Mrs. Gertrude Pitts, Mrs. J. W. Parsons and Mrs.

Frances Jones. Supervising the display of the gift items will be Mrs. Carlos McAfee and Mrs. Lola Smith. Mrs.

Bob Logston is in charge of the ticket sales and Mrs. Ed George will supervise the sale of Holiday Foods at the bazaar. IL prie-dieu centered the w'edding scene. Mr. Rainbolt gave his daugh-f ter in marriage.

The brides dress was a street-length sheath of white satin with a Chantitlly lacee overskirt. The fitted bodice was fashioned with long sleeves and a bateau neckline which dipped to a point in the back. A lace pillbox hat held her veil of bridal illusion, and she carried an arrangement of step-hanotis centered with a white orchid. Miss Jo Ann Hainey was the brides only attendant Her red, satin dress was styled with intermission sleeves and a bell skirt. The round neckline dipped to a in the back, and the back of the skirt was accented by a butterfly bow.

Her head-piece was a Dior bow with a complexion veil, and her flowers were white chrysanthemums. Jimmy Monteith served as the best man, and the ushers were Jim Willis and Jim Michaels. Mrs. Rainbolt, mother of the bride, wore a tan sheath dress with beige accessories and white gloves. Her corsage was of white pompon chrysanthemums.

For her sons wedding, Mrs. Monteith selected a dress of mauve lace. Her hat was aqua and her other accessories matched her dress. Her corsages was of aqua pompon chrysanthemums. A reception honoring the newlyweds was held at the church following the wedding ceremony.

The brides table was covered with a white organdy overskirt and held the tiered wedding cake and the punchbowl. Mrs. Wallace Burtcher, the brides aunt, cut the cake, and Miss Becky Pearson served the punch. Following the reception the couple left for a brief wedding trip. The bride was wearing a brown suit with matching accessories.

Her corsage was the white orchid from her bridal bouquet. The couple is at home at 1609 N. Woodward. Both the bride and bridegroom are graduates of Bethany High School. Already for the Mayfair Heights Methodist church Bazaar.

He will appear at 8:15 P.M. in O.C.U.s Fine Arts Auditorium. James Dick was bom in Hutchinson, Kansas, only 21 years ago but is no stranger to the concert stage. Reviewers inevitably compare him to Van Cliburn and most favorably. James Dick began the study of piano with his mother.

He studied with Leonard Shure at Aspen, Colorado, during the summer of 1958 and for the past four years has been a student of Dalies Frantz at the University of Texas, where he will graduate at the end of the present semester. He has won every competition he has entered, which included one each in 1958, 1959, 1960, two in 1961 and one in 1962. He played on two regular subscription concerts of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra in 1962 as winner of the G. B. Dealey Award.

He has also played with the Wichita Symphony, San Angelo Symphony, Birmingham Summer Symphony, Houston Summer Symphony, Austin Symphony, Amarillo Symphony, San Antonio Symphony and the Houston Symphony winter series.
