TEN TULSA COUNTY NEWS THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 1960 Deaths MARY CHASE Mrs. Mary Nell Chase, 25, of 1323 W. 22d a Tulsan 15 years, died of leukemia in an Oklahoma City hospital Monday Feb. 1. Mrs.

Chase was the wife of Joe Harvey Chase, a sheet rock worker. She was born at Coalgate. Other survivors include a son, Dale Gordon Chase, and a daughter, Phyllis JoAnn Chase, of the home; three brothers, Nathan Rogers 1304 Country Club Walter Rogers, W. and Obie Rogers the home; a sister, Mrs. Juanita Thomas, 1319 W.

22d her parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. K. Rogers of the home, and her grandmother, Mrs.

Nellie Rogers, Oakhurst. BESSIE COLLYER Services for Mrs. Bessie Collyer, 84, of 924 W. 24th a Tulsa resident 15 years, were held Friday, Feb. 5th in Ninde funeral chapel.

She died of cancer in a Tulsa hospital Tuesday, Feb. 2. Born at Siloam Springs, Mrs. Collyer was a member of West Tulsa Methodist church. Her husband, James F.

Collyer, a gasoline bulk plant operator, died in 1935. Survivors include two sons, Roscoe Collyer, Denver, and J. P. Collyer, Los Angeles; a daughter, W. J.

Langley, 2307 S. Phoenix and seven grandchildren. Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery, Siloam Springs. MARY JAMES Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth James, 82, of 6324 W.

22d a Tulsa resident 17 years, were held Tuesday, Feb. 2nd at Carbondale Kingdom Hall, of which she was a member. Mrs. James died Saturday night Jan. 30 in a Tulsa hospital after a 6-week illness.

Born at Terre Hautte, she came to Tulsa from Udall, Kans. Her husband, Walter, a farmer, died in 1942. Survivors include four sons. Otto James, Ponca City; Eugene James, Laurel, Raymond James, Wichita, and Francis James, Fredonia, three daughters, Mrs. Bertha Stevenson, with whom she made her home; Mrs.

Agnes Anderson, Emporia, and Miss Thelma James, Washington; a brother, Theodore Scheytt, Marshall, 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Interment was in Memorial Park cemetery under direction of the Hendricks funeral home, Jenks. Mrs. Lucy Vernon, 85, of 4502 S. Waco died in a Tulsa hospital Sunday, night, Feb.

7th after suffering a heart attack at her home. Survivors include four sons, Millard Vernon, 2011 S. Phoenix Louie Vernon, Keystone, and Leonard Vernon, Modesto, four daughters, Mrs. Lela Lyons, Tulsa; Mrs. Rena House, Bixby; Mrs.

Virginia Caves, 1309 W. 41st and Mrs. Kay Hicks, 2115 W. 40th and about 90 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb.

9th at Hilldale Pentecostal church. Interment was in the Bixby cemetery directed by Moore funeral home. LUCY VERNON YMCA Club News The Bateos Jr. Tri-Hi Club held their weekly meeting at the home of Dianna and Barbara Criner Thursday afternoon. The girls worked on valentine decorations as a service project for the Jr.

The Vikings that attended the party were J. Scott, Harry Baker, James Crutcher, Butch Bailey, Kenneth Apple, Bobby Hill, Ter- Budget Cutters Sale Harold Miller, will be with the tonight, Feb. 11, to show explaination the 1956 Bond issue and the work that is now Guy Hall Jr. will be Lion of the Day.
