He took the coupon to Fargo Bank, asking that the company- draw on New Orleans tor the amount Thia was done, and a few' days' ago the money wat paid to Mr. Ambold, who forthwith deposited the $15,000 in another bank to the credit or the real winner. These facts' were, recited by one of the partners in the Alaska Commercial Company, and no higher evidence of their accuracy could be Jnst what the winner intends doicg with his winnings, no one knows. He has not even been apprised that the money ia all tate in the bank for him.

The gentleman referred to as offering the information said that the winner it one ot the most deserving men in the company's employ and to no one could the happy windfed occur and the announcement of it give more general pleasure. California contained another lucky individual at the same drawing, for he also went to Wells, Fargo and cashed his coupon through them. He succeeded, however, in very effectually concealing his identity, as all efforts to discover his name or whereabouts have proved quite unavailing. All that could be learned is thai he is a hard working mechanic living in the Mission. Sari Franuiaco (Cel.) Kjiurvnxae, April zutn.
