6-The SUN, Flagstaff, Arizona Thursday, February 4,1971 Dear Ab by-- Good Attorney Can End Son't 'Affair' By Abigail Van Buren DEAR ABBY: 1 need advice from anyone who can give it to me. My son is 17. When he was 16, a married woman with two children started chasing after him. She still does. He was always home nights until that terrible woman came into the picture.

Now he lies to us and says be is staying overnight with a buddy, but it turns out that he is with this woman. She is over 21 and is on probation, so you know what kind of person she is. My son will listen to no one since he became so infatuated with this woman. The law protects her, believe it or not. The police and even a New York judge have toM us there is nothing we can do about it.

Does this make any sense to you? If he were your son, what would you do? HEARTSICK MOTHER DEAR MOTHER: The police should know the And so should a judge, bit since you son is minor and this woman is on probaltai, it doesn't make sense to me tkat there isn't anything you can do. If he were my son, I would hire good attorney and pay him for what be knows. DEAR ABBY: My husband's brother and his wife just moved into their new home. It is a very beautiful home and they are very proud of it. The other night we called on them for the first time and brought along a housewarming gift.

We sat down, had a drink and talked, but they never offered to show us thru their home. Neither did we ask them to show it to us. The next day we heard that the wife was very upset because we didn't ask them to show us the house. Please settle this, Abby. Who is supposed to do what? Should we have asked them to show us their house? Or should they have offered to take us thru their new home? FLORIDANS DEAR FLORIDANS: Since the purpose of your call to "warm" their new home, it would seem only reasonable that they would offer to show you Inm.

But since tfcey didn't, you would not have been out of order to have said, "--And now, will yoi give us a SO-cent tour?" DEAR ABBY: I am a girl with a very touchy problem. My best friend has a weak muscle in her eye which makes her cross-eyed. 1 hear that this can be corrected by an operation, but I just can't bring myself to mention it to her. Even tbo I am her best friend I am afraid it would hurt her feel- tags. When she is not with me, so many people ask me why she doesn't get her eye fixed for otherwise she would be so pretty.

1 usually say, "I don't know why," and walk away. What else can I do? Guys notice it right away, and I am sure that's the reason she has very few dates. She is a lovely girl with a nice personality. Is there some way I can help her without hurting her feelings? A FRIEND DEAR FRIEND: Yes. Only a good frieid wcwM care enough to tell her that her eye can be corrected.

Perhaps she doesn't know. Or perhaps she isn't tware of how disfiguring aid conspicuous it is. II you tell her in the spirit of friendly loving kindness she be gratefal, not hurt.
