Soviet press today A dispatch of the official news agency Tass from New York gave the impression the election was accepted by Russian leaders as indicative of a popular pre-election approval of see an exhibition of war paintings however He was Impressed by the thousands of cots which he saw In the underground air raid shelters all of those people having lost their homes An English girl whom he had met sometime ago invited him to her house recently tut before he could get there her house and three others in a row had been destroyed by bombs Sergt Pulcifer was staying during his leave in London at the Imperial Hotel where his mother and his aunt Madame Lillian Blauvelt famous singer had stayed some years ago This Is a huge hotel with about 3000 rooms given over entirely to the
