N. C. on Saturday Nov. 3, 1894 Mrs Mollie Bagwell Goode wife of R. V.

Goode She wasburiel on Sunday in the Episcopal Churcli yard in Vin4sDr. Mrs. Goode was a member bfythe Cashie Bap tist Church and her pastor Qev, J. B. Boone conducted he burial rjtes.

She leaves a husband and three children in sorrow. 1 have known her marfy yars. all the walks of life ho tread the straigh and narrow way that leads to Eternal life. As a wife she was watchful, devoted, faithful and true; as a mother, she was burden bearing, kind gentle; as a reighboro and friend she was sincere, cliairtabltfj'-jurt and hospitable; anb as a Christain prayerful, faithful and God fearing. I never knew a better womon.

She leaves a rich legacy of good deeds and an unsallied example of pure life to hi kindred and W. liiiuma ij. ijeicesrer, wite oil 1j' a Willie Leicester, and daughter Van and Martha Terrv, died the home of.hyr mother near! T5ans bouci. Ooctober 20: 1S94 aged 19 years, having Wen brought op in tlie nurture and admonition -of the Lord. She embraced religion- at an earlv age and lived a consistent member of the Baptist church at Lawrence Roads until her death.

Sim suffered a great deal, having that slow, but fatal disease, consumption, which carries hundreds and even thousands the voung down to fill an early grave, bearing her suffer; ings with patience, never mur muring. She did not die without assuring us that our loss was her eternal gaiu. She has doubt less joined her sainted father, brother and Vistrs -Va tire -IhoV shore. Weep not for her, she is not dead but sleepoth. The short, but beautiful life is cosel.

Though blinded bv tear. as rel alives athd friends raise their eyes heavenward they feci that-through Christ's love they will go to her. She leaves, almost a heartbroken liushaml to mourn1 her loss, besides a large, number of relatives and friends of whom the writer is one; but may we so live in this life th it may' strike heart and hasv.l with her in that sun-bright clime where partings never come and that sad word farewell will never be. uttered.
