Stanley Dies Saturday In Local Hospital Mra Annie R. Stanley, 67, of died Saturday morning at a local hospital after a long Illness. She was the widow of Asa H. Stanley, and the mother of State Representatives Leslie H. Stanley of Hampden and James S.

Stanley of Bangor. She was born to Prince Edward Island, the daughter of James and Katherine (Sheehan) Glllia, and had made her home to Hampden for many years, Mrs. Stanley was a member of the Easkahegan Grange of Car-roll, the VFW Auxiliary of Hampden and St. Mary's Catholic church of Bangor. Besides those mentioned above, Mrs.

Stanley is survived by thiee daughters, Mra Teasie Libbey, Mattawamkeag, Mra Juanita Richards, San Marcos, Calif, and Miss Marlon Stanley, Hampden; three other sons, Asa Weat Roxbury, Mass, Hale Dover-Foxcroft, and Dale St. Petersburg, two sisters. Sept. 18 (API The government rushed food end medical aupplie today to the flooded Pacific coast port of San Jose. 50 miles south of here, struck by a fierce tropical storm Friday night. Clinton Man Found Dead Near Benton BENTON, Sept. 18 (AP)-The body of 72-year-old Charles Scribner, of Clinton was found lying beside the Benton river road here today by an un-Hntified passesby. Medical Examiner Charles Town of Water-vtlle ruled the death was due to natural cause. Mr.

Scribner was born in Dan-forth April. 1883, son of Wallace and Ann McHugh Scribner. He was a retired station agent and had been employed by the Maine Central Raidroad for 50 years, retiring ta 1850. Surviving are one son, Charles, Jr. of Clinton; one daughter.

He was born at Beals, July 28, 1926, son of Nathaniel and Oc-tavia (Alley) Beal. He had been a lobsterflsherman by occupation.
