That the taxes of kll i personal property, secured by real property, and one-half of the taxes of all real property, will be due and payable on the first Monday tn October, and will be delinquent on the last Monday in November) next thereafter, et 6 o'clock p. audi that unless paid prior thereto, fifteen per oenU will be added to tbe amount thereof; and that if said on half be not paid before the mat Monday in April next, at 6 o'clock r. x.

On motion, the bond was approved and the application referred to the Judiciary Committee. J. H. Eichner, southeast- cornet of Fortieth and Adeline streets, and Frank Orro of Central avenue and San Leandro road, filed applications tor permits to obtain licenses for tbe saie of liquors, etc. The bonds accompanying eaid applications being declared by tne District Attorney null and void, no action was taken.

EEtIGNATION OF F.PH TYSON. Eph Tyson, poundmaster of the Niles public pound, tendered his resignation in a communication to the board and requested the acceptance of the same. On motion of Supervieor Bailey the said application was aliowe.l. COMMUNICATIONS. The Oakland Journal, in a communication to tne board, requested the board to purchase of and.

make an appropriation irom the. fund to "aid and carry on the work ol inducing immigration to the county of AianieJa" for the purchase of one thousand copies of the German-American Almanac, tor the year 181)2, for $100. On motion of Supervisor Martin, seconded by Supervisor Pelouze, the seme was adopted. PETITIONS. A petition was received, siened bv E.
