Steaming out to a point near Ooat Island the boat headed south to Hunter's Point and the Air dock, and then turned north and followed the Sun Francisco shore, giving he passengers a good view of the lights at the Potrero, including the new cruiser San Francisco. At 11 o'clock the boat landed at Market street wharf, San Francisco, and the excursionists were informed they would be taken no farther as $290 of the necessary 1450 had been raUed, and the excursien would be abandoned. The disappointed passengers then took their lunch baskets and wrai and with the return cheeks that had beeu fi nished them, made their weary wav home ward to celebrate the rest of the dav with their neighbors.

Tbo Bi-ycle Tournament The attraction for Oakland wheelmen yester day was the tournament given at San Jose by the California Division of the League of American Wheelmen, and not a few riders from this section carried off honors.
