Power Man Dies Eugena Dole 71 former treasurer and clerk of the Bangor Hydro-Electric Company died at his home 55 Boutelie Road Bangor Tuesday morning following a long period of failing health Mr Dole retired from the Bangor Hydro-Electric Company laat August after 41 years of service with the company Mr Dole contributed much to the hydroelectric power development in Maine During his term of office he saw the area electrical requirements expand from less than 15 million KWH per year to more than 250 million KWH and subsequent increase in income of the Hydro He was bom in Holden the son of Charles and Harriett (Deer-lng) Dole He attended Brewer High School and Shaw Business College and from 1903 to 1913 he was a clerk at the Second National Bank of Bangor In 1913 Mr Dole joined the Bangor Hydro-Electric Company as a bookkeeper and in 1917 he was elected assistant treasurer and he became treasurer and clerk In 1925 Mr Dole was vice president and a director of the Bangor Loan and Building Association a past commander of St John's Com mandery a past commander of the Bangor Council and a dea con of the Hammond Street Congregational Church He was also a member of the Bangor Rotary Club He was a member of St Andrews Lodge and AM and was a 32nd Degree Mason Besides his wife Mrs Minnie A Dole he la survived by three sons Floyd Dole and Robert Dole of Bangor and Ira Dole of
