Art Society announces that the exhibit of original works of art by its members at the Bangor House has been changed and the new display will be in the Bangor House lobby for the next six weeks Included in the new exhibit are 39 paintings in oil water color and pastel by both professional and amateur artists and although these paintings may be purchased it is the intent of the Bangor Art Society to offer a showcase for the works of its members It is hoped that both hometown folks and visitors will View the work of these Ideal artists with interest Two newcomers to the list of painters this month are Jeanne Murray whose small oil painting is bright and attractive and Axel Henry Gren whose- oil in Swiss offers a view of scenic grandeur Three seascapes in oil are worthy of attention Georges by Robert Cardin by Irene Heddericg and by Evelyn Pearson all show the ocean in a stormy mood A semi-Oriental abstraction in water color by Roger Stearns Jr entitled on is unusual and
