"Pacific Lodge, Ko. 7, of this city, installed officers publicly on Thursday evening last. The lodge gave a most pleasant entertainment in connection with the Installation. After the installation ceremonies' Q. W.

Marston, the new Master Workman, delivered an appropriate address. Miss Howell sang a pleasant and II. Barnes, Past Master Workman of California, delivered one of his eloquent addresses. He referred to the fact that California contained four times as many lodges as any other State in the Union, and for this reason it was- no wonder that the Supreme Lodge had twice honored California with the election of a Supreme Master Workman, first Dr. Fish and then W.

H. Jordan, both of Oakland. This speech was fol-, lowed by instrumental music, addresses by N. 01 Young. Grand Foreman, and Frank Pollard, District Grand Master "Workman, and a recitation by Mary C.
