Hanover Mr. and Mrs. George H. Smith celebrated their golden wedding anniversary yesterday afternoon with an open house at their home, 210 Fair avenue. They were married Jan.

20, 1907, by the late Rev, William H. Ehrhart, in the Lutheran parson- age of St. Jacob's (Stone) church nlar Glenville. Hanover John D. Flickinger, 84, of 218 North Franklin street, died at his home Saturday at 10:15 p. m. after a short illness. Mr.

Flickinger was in the heating and, plumbing business for the past 60 years. A son of the late Winfield Scott and Suzanna Petry Flickinger, he was a member of Trinity Reformed church, Knights of Malta, Knights of Pythias, Knights of the Golden Eagle, Royal Arcanium, P.O.S. of A and Hanover Fire company. Mr. Flickinger was chief of the" fire company for 50 years and two years ago received the golden badge.

His father before him had been chief engineer. His first wife, Mrs. Emma Lillich Flickinger, died in 1920 and his second wife, Mrs. Ida Crouse Flickinger, died in 1938. Surviving are: One daughter, Mary Flickinger, at home; two sons, S.

Stewart Flickinger, at home and Edward W. Flickinger, Tarrytown, N. four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p. m.

Interment will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Bucher Funeral home has charge of arrangements. Miss Rosa Ginter Miss Rosa Ginter, 88, of 34 Meade avenue, died yesterday at 3:30 p.m. at the home of her sister, Mrs.

Jennie Noel, 28 West Hanover street, with whom she had been visiting for the last few days. A daughter of the late1 Emmanuel and Elizabeth Staub Ginter, she had lived with the late Edward H. and Mary E. Dubs family for 72 years. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m.

Death was caused by coronary thrombosis. Surviving besides his wife are three brothers, Harry and Ralph Ellinger, both of Hummelstown, and Gurney Ellinger, Oregon. Native, Dies At Rahway, N.J. 1 Mrs. Carrie E. Funk Miller, widow of Benjamin H. Miller, died at 5 p.m.

yesterday at her home 1157 Fulton street, Rahway, N. J. She was 90. Mrs. Miller was born in Newberry township, a daughter of the late William and Leah Etter Funk.

She had been a resident of Rah- way for 45 years, previouly having resided in Goldsboro, Manchester an- orK. Surviving are four children, Clair F. Miller, Bretton Woods, N. H. Gerald Miller, Rahway; Leah Miller, at home, and Roy Miller, New York City; five grand- children and seven -great grand-; children.
