Dinner For Soldier Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mackinson, Delta, R. entertained at dinner in honor of Owen Griffith, who left on March 28 for induction into the army. Present were: Mr.

Mrs. J. T. Gailey, Delta, spent a week recently with her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. and Mrs.

Ernest 120 days on his plea of guilty to charge of stealing a wrist watch, guitar and stamps belonging to his son, Paul Shaffer. The information was made by Dixie J. Shaffer. The defendant pleaded guilty Feb. 21, and Judge Sherwood placed him on probation with the Probation Officer Harris, until June, but, in the meantime Shaffer became intoxicated and did not support his family.

Rev. Mr. Harris then brought him before the court yesterday. In Orphans' Court Adjudications handed down in estate of Catherine Diehl, late York, and Zach Lauer, late of West York. Executors of estate of Noah E.

Gobrecht directed to issue deed conveying a tract of real estate in 1 West Manheim township, to Paul J. Garrett at the price of $3,000, on petition for specific performance.
