GVil First Lt. Dale E. Mellinger, 28, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.

J. Mellinger, Windsor, was graduated recently from the procurement officer course at the Quartermaster school of Fort Lee, Va. Lt. Mellinger entered the Army in 1952. He holds the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Combat Infantryman badge, and "the United Nations and Korean Service ribbons.

He is a 1952 graduate of Indiana State Teachers' college and a -member of Delta Sigma Phi and Delta- Phi Delta fraternities. Pfc. Donald C. Schrom, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Steven Schrom, 139 Cedar street, recently took part in battalion training tests conducted by the 25th Infantry division on Hawaii. Pfc.
