Serving as committee chairmen for the affair were: Contests, Richard Glackin; supper, Charles Glackin; games. James Arcuri; advertisement, Charles Lobianco free drinks, Curtis Brady, Legionnaires, Families Picnic At White Oak York City band furnished evening entertainment at a recent picnic for Post 127, American Legion, the-auxiliary, drum and bugle corps, and their families at White Oak park. Free merry-go-round rides were offered children along with ice cream cones and games. About 300 persons attended.

Viola Oiler, with whom she resides, and Robert Carl Oiler, York Haven, she will enter training with Miss Reider. Ethel L. Reider, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Reider, Glen Rock RD 2, recently received one of two $300 nursing scholarships awarded annually by the Soroptomist Club of York.
