Gary Johnson, Woodhull-Alpha Jaycee president, has announced that the chapter will sponsor a local Hlinols Junior Sports Jamboree at AlWood High School May 12 at 9:30 a.m. Any boy or giri between 10 end 15 who lives in the AlWood School District is eligible to participate. Children will be placed in age groups for the competition; Aug. 31 is the cut-off date for birthdays. Each child may enter a field, a track and a re lay event. Each contestant will receive a certificate of participation, and ribbons will go to the first three place winners. First place winners in each event will be eligible to enter the regional meet at Belvidere. Regional winners will go to state finals at Lincoln. Entry blanks are available from physical education teachers, Johnson said. "Mobile Meals"' will be delivered in Alpha May 2 to the initial 13 subscribers to the program.
