Stephens College at Annandale-on-the-Hudson had been absorbed by Columbia University of New Y'ork Dr Nicholas Alurray Butler president of Columbia becomes president also of St Stephens The new arrangement provides that St Stephens will remain under the influence of I Seventh Regiment the Episcopal chnrch with the Bishop teer Infantry for of New Y'ork as the chairman of the board Among the faculty of St Stephens who have been transferred to become members of the Columbia faculty is James AA'ilson professor in Romance languages a native of Bethel and graduate of AVhiteomb High and the
