Devers Albert B. Devers, 54, husband of Hazel Martin Devers, died at 4:10 a.m. yesterday at his home, 1366 West Market street. He was employed at Medusa Portland Cement company and belonged to Viking and Girard Athletic associations. Besides his wife he leaves two sisters, Mrs.

Jane Pyle, 1626 First avenue, and Mrs. Lillian Leathery, Thurmont, Md. Funeral services wil be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from Edward W. Baumeister Colonial mortuary, Queen and Jackson streets.

Rose cemetery. John E. Peters John E. Peters, 55, son of the late Jacob and Anna Gentzler Peters, died yesterday at 10:30 a.m. at Pleasant Acres.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Anderson, 643 West Locust street, and Daisy Peters, Mt. Rose avenue extended; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. from Strack and Strine Funeral home, 1205 East Market street.

Dr. Elmer Denniston Dr. Elmer Denniston, 80, an osteopathic physician at Harrisburg 47 years before he retired, died Saturday evening at his home, Lauerl Park, Mt. Gretna. Surviving is his wife, Mrs.

Martha E. Denniston. The funeral will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Henry S. Fisher Funeral home, 1334 North Second street, Harrisburg.

Burial will be in Paxtang cemetery. Paul F. Schaaf Paul F. Schaaf, 50, died suddenly Sunday at 1:30 a.m. at his home, 1041 North George street.

He is survived by three daughters and a son, all of Muscatine, Ia. They are Donald Schaaf, Mrs. Joe Tetus, Thelma Schaaf and Mrs. Robert Cramer. Also surviving are two brothers, Charles Schaaf and Frank Schaaf, Reedsville; a sister, Mrs.

Margaret Pratt, living in New Jersey, and seven -andchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. from Speer Funeral home, Burnham. Interment will be in Church Hill cemeterq, Recdsville, Mifflin county. Mrs.

Joseph A. Kahley Funeral services for Elsie Slenker Kahley, wife of Joseph A. Kahley, 26 Lee street, who died Friday at her home, were held yesterday from Sleeger Funeral home. Rev. Paul J.

Seltzer, pastor of Bethany Moravian church, officiated. Iowa Council 26, Daughters of America, and the King's Daughters of Bethany church conducted memorial services at the funeral home. She was assisted by Mary Eyler, associate junior past councilor; Pauline McCleman, vicecouncilor; and Anna Fogle, junior past councilor. The King's Daughters service was conducted by Mrs.

Drawbaugh Last rites were held yesterday at Zeigler Funeral home, Manchester, for veteran paid city fireman William L. Drawbaugh, 566 West Princess street, who died Friday at York hospital. Members of York Local 627, In-ternational Association of Fire Fighters, served as active pallbearers. They were M. Kenneth and James W.

Lindsey, Wayne E. Senft, Edward R. Carpenter, Joseph S. Provenza and Lewis T. Sowers.

Honor guard members, also of Local 627, were Robert Little, James Buffington, George Spangler, Charles Baker and Santo LaNasa. Honorary pallbearers were these members of Rex Hook and Ladder company: William Lau, Alfred Uhler, John Waughtel, George Strine, City Councilman Edward M. Shelly, Chief of Police Richard K. Johnson, Fire Chief L. Ellis Wagner, Assistant Chiefs H.

Raymond Linton and John T. Koch and City Mechanic Harry Firestone. Representing the York City Foreman's and Fire Police association were Glenn Silar and George Christine. A delegation of 41 men from Local 627 attended the services in a body, as well as 10 members from the Lancaster City Fire department. Rev.

Herbert L. Rice, pastor of Bethany Reformed church, conducted the service, assisted by Rev. Dr. C. Eugene Blum, chaplain of York Fire department.

Interment was in Mt. Rose cemetery. Mrs. Alice Husan Mrs. Alice Husan, widow of John A.

Husan, died at her residence, 624 Vander avenue, at 1 p.m. yesterday. She was 85. A member of Messiah Lutheran church, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Nettie Albright, at home, and Mrs.

Bertha R. Gaver, 2408 Arlington street, Spry, and a grandchild and two great grandchildren. Her pastor, Rev. William Janson, will officiate at funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday at Dodson Funeral home.
