Diary M. W. I am sorry to know that you are "half crazy with eczema" and that it is spreading from your arms to your neck. The local treatments with your skin specialist are a waste of money and time. The trouble is coming from the inside and the correction must be made there.

Your diet needs adjustment and you most certainly must step up your eliminations to at least two a day. Use a enema two or three times a week, if necessary, in addition to an herbal laxative. Cut out all milk, egg whites, fats, animal protein and white berads and refined cereals; use large amounts of vegetables and fruits, natural cereals and get yourself a concentrated food form of vitamin B. Externally, make a salve of one ounce of anhydrous lanolin into which you have thoroughly mixed one level teaspoonful powdered garlic. Apply this to the troubled parts about the thickness of a nickle and leave it overnight, covered with a clean piece of linen or gauze.

Wash with soap and water the next morning. I think you will find this method constructive and helpful. I do hope that you get a rapid improvement. Tomorrow V. Complexion When sending lor material, offered ycu in my column, please remember always to enclose a self-address, three cent stamped envelope.

Address me in care of this paper. Remember, too, that I cannot personal replies. For personal diagnoses consultations, or treatment, you must consult some recognized beautician or your personal physician. V. D.

By no means use a curl lotion or permanent wave gadgets for your 15 months old baby. I know it is distressing to see the curl straighten out after cut it, but I think after the 'straggly effect is over it will curl again. Keep turning it clockwise with your fingers. Very often a babys hair seems curly and fluffy and then begins to straighten out and it is certainly preferable for her to have healthy straight hair than to endanger it by putting in curls. Training and devoted attention such as you have been giving it may tend to keep what curl there is there, but don't be disappointed if it seems to go out.

N. H. I am glad to know that the blemishes on your back and chest are clearing up so nicely. The blackheads, too, will disappear with continued attention. Make a mixture of three tablespoonfuls of Epsom Salts in two quarts hot water.

Wring a cloth out of this and hold over the affected area for a moment. Repeat several times. If the blackheads pop, as they will, wipe them away. If one seems almost ready to pop, press with one finger to help loosen it, buffcy no means squeeze with two fingers to force it out. This injures the shape of the pore and will leave it permanently enlarged.

What doesn't pop one night, will pop another. Do be patient. You didn't get them in a week don't expect to get rid of them in that time. Apply your skin toning lotion afterward, as an antiseptic. tary of the Women auxiliaries.
