Carieton Elected Superintendent of Helena Public Schools Ray Bjork Resigns to Complete Work In Medicine After One Year As Successful Administrator Here Superintendent i J. a i principal of Central and Emerson schools, was elected i of schools at a special board meeting last night to i the place of Ray 33jork who resigned to complete his collegiate training in the field of medicine, Floyd Young, vice a i a of school board, announced today. Carieton has been principal of a grade school for three years, having come to Helena Irom Moccasin, where he was superintendent of schools. He has a in a a schools for 19 years a receiving his I3A degree Tnlermoimtain Union college and his master's degree from the i i of Montana.

He is well in a i a circles and has been active in the a a Educational association. A his resignation becomes effective on Sept. 15, B.jork will leave field of a i and enroll for a a in the i i of North Dakota to finish a few premedic courses before i a medical school. "This past year has been one of my most pleasant years in the profession," Bjork said. "I have enjoyed my association with the board of trustees, school principals, teachers, and school patrons. Carey Found Dead in Spokane Hotel Spokane Coroner Will Perform Autopsy On State Treasurer Thomas K.
