For info call (775) 690-7794 Services FAE McCAULEY EDWARDS Oct 25, 1919 Apr 1, 2003 Fae was born to Frank and Alice McCauley in a log cabin in Blackfoot, ID, where she was the youn- gest of seven children. The family moved to Los Banos in 1933 to start the McCauley Home Bakery.

Fae married John W. dwards in 1936, the be- ginning of a 62-year ad- venture. After John returned from WWII, they moved their family to Woodlake where John was in business with his father and brother and where Fae and John were instru- mental in establishing the Boy and Girl Scouts. In 1955, they moved their family to Lindsay to own and manage the Lindsay Bakery. John and Fae worked side-by-side for 20 years before retiring.

passing in 1998 as very hard on Fae, as they had been together for more than 62 years. Their family was blessed with their example of a life-long commitment through better or worse. Fae is survived by her three children, Carol and her husband, Bob Padilla of Madera, Barbara Foster of Visalia, and John Edwards and his wife Linda of Colorado Springs, CO. Fae is also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grand- child, as well as her broth- er, Dean McCauley; sisters-in-law, Minnie McCauley, Anna Gann and Genevieve McCauley. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Itaro and Noi Omori; brothers, George and Melvin; and a sister, Betty Imoto. He is survived by his wife Nancy of Reedley; sisters-in-law, Sally of Santa Clara, Uri of Fresno, and many nieces and nephews. RAYMOND MENDOZA U.S. ARMY Our young soldier died hile on duty in Germany on April 3, 2003. As an expert in Missile Systems Repair he was highly val- ued and respected among his fellow soldiers.

They too share the grief in the loss of their battalion brother. Ray was born May 12, 1 981, in Las Vegas, Neva- da and raised primarily in the Fresno-Clovis area. His greatest tribute to our Valley was his love, talent and remarkable participa- tion in the Central High School band performanc- es. He lovingly passed on his interests and talents to his surviving siblings. It was dream to serve and protect our country and he worked dil- igently for three years to do so before it took his life.

He had the courage, inner strength and wisdom to make him a great sol- der. He also had compas- sion for others, a loving gentle heart and kindness that made him a great soul. Raymond is survived by his mother Jeannie Matthews-Howell, siblings Marcus Matthews age 14, and Jennifer Matthews age 12. His extended family in- cluded; grandmothers, Edna Ramm, Geraldine Matthews, and the far away but not forgotten Emily Flores. Special thanks to Greg Matthews who stepped in to father him for eleven years.

Raymond you are truly a American hero and will always be remembered for your contribution towards this existing war and your fight to ensure our free- dom. Never to be forgotten for the love, laughter and joy you brought to so many; and keeping you close in our hearts until we can be together again. GIAMMARISE Anthony was born on ebruary 10, 1920, in Buf- falo, NY and passed away on April 8, 2003, in Fres- no, CA at the age of 83. Mr. Giammarise was the first son of the late Samu- el Giammaresi and Rose Gallo.

He served in the U.S. Army as a Captain. Anthony was employed by Durez Plastics, in North Tonawanda, NY and later by Xerox Corporation in Webster, NY as an analyti- cal chemist. He was one of the researchers who de- veloped color xerography and held one U.S. Patent related to his work with Xerox.

Mr. Giammarise re- ceived a B.S. degree from Brockport State University in New York state. He was a member of the Xerox Pioneers Club and be- longed to St. Parish of Webster and sang in the choir.

He is preceded in death by a brother Thomas; and by two sisters, Katherine and Josephine. Anthony is survived by is loving wife, Constance Davenish-Meares Giam- marise, whom he married on April 27, 1945, in Newry, County Down, Northern Ireland. He also leaves his children, Dolores Amato of Fresno, CA, Anthony W. Giammar- ise of Erie, PA, and Patrick Giammarise of Chico, CA. A Funeral Mass will be eld at Our Lady of Victo- ry Catholic Church on Fri- day, April 11, 2003, at 2:00 p.m.
