Six fhe Independent-Record, Sunday, July 16, 1944 Marine Corps Calls Two Helena Girls i Miss Florence Carolyne Fabatz, daughter of Mr. nnd Mrs. Charles Fahatz of East Helena, and Mlss Lucille Lornene Davis. daughter of Mr. ami Mrs.

L. Davis of Avon, will leave 22 for Camp Lejeune, N. for basic training: in the marine women resenes. They have been on inactive status since their enlistment May 2. Miss Fabatz has been employed in tho office of J.

A. Sullivan, clerk and recorder for Lewis and Clark county. She previously was employed in the county assessor's office for more than six years. She is a graduate of Helena high school and attended Helena Business college. Miss who has been employed at the LaGay beauty service shop in Helena, is a graduate of Elliston high school.

They will be accompanied to Camp Lejeune by two other Montana marine corps women reservists. Miss Alice Louise Anthony of Missoula and Miss Laura Jean Love of Arlee. Will Entertain Miss Fabatz will be the honor guest at open house Wednesday evening between the hours of 7 and 11 o'clock at the Fabatz residence in East Helena, when her mother, Mrs Charles Fabatz and her sister, Mrs. Dick Bnrdon of Helena, entertain. Her finger-tip veil fell from a beaded coronet and she carried a bouquet of roses and baby's bieath, tied with white satin ribbon.

Her only iewelry was Private Petek's infantry pin. She was attended by Mrs. Roy Price, who chose a powder blue crepe gown designed with a full skirt and ruffled bodice. She wore a gardenia corsage. The bride's mother wore blue Jersey gown trimmed in gold, white accessories and a rose corsage.

As the couple left the chapel, an honor guard of 12 of Private Petek's friends, formed an arch with bayonets. Following fhe exchange of a reception was held at Ciystal Lake, Va for the wedding party. Private and Mrs. Petek left that evening for Washington, D. on a wedding trip.
