Maivia widow of Peter Maivia and grandmother of Dwayne Johnson died Sunday at her Davie home of a heart attack She was 77 Johnson a former wrestler who now acts is the only child of only child daughter Ata Johnson Through a spokesman both said they were too upset to comment Maivia took over the Hawaii-based Polynesian Pacific Pro Wrestling after her husband died in 1982 becoming one of the few female promoters Peter Maivia was inducted into the World Wrestling Leah Maivia took over Polynesian Pacific Pro Wrestling in 1982 becoming one of the few female promoters Major figures in the sport admired Maivia my daughter Hailey who is now 23 met Lia at a wrestling event in upper New York state Lia went to a gift shop at a nearby hotel and bought Hailey a stuffed bunny as a gift She had
