The bride appeared in a gown of white silk brocade.

The bell skirt of controlled fullness was topped by a long-sleeved basque, designed with a flaring cape collar tapering at the back into a panel of the brocade which formed a cotillion-length train. A cluster of silk roses and petals held to the head her circular veil of illusion. Mr. Maxwell, a student at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, and his bride will live in Omaha. A member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity and Phi Rho medical fraternity, he is a graduate of the University of Nebraska.

A member of Delta Gamma, Mrs. Maxwell is a senior at the university. The marriage of Miss Gloria Elise er, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold E.

Meyer, to David Richard Durling, son of Mr and Mrs. Richard Durling, of York, was solemnized Thursday evening, Dec. 22, at the First Presbyterian Church in York. The Rev. Gale Prentice read the lines of the candlelight service at 7:30 Ruby velvet bodices and sUm skirts of petal pink crepe fashioned the Empire frocks of Mrs.

Stewart Jordal, of Lincoln, the matron of honor; Miss Patricia Domeier, York, who was the maid of honor; and the bridesmaids, Miss Patricia Maurer, York, and Miss Lana Bredemeier, Madison, Wis. Dan Durling of York, served his brother as best man, and the corps of ushers included Robert Cherny, New York City; Robert Peterson, York; Roger Koons, Omaha; Lee Meyer, brother of the bride, and Robert Haws, Lincoln. For her wedding gown, the bride selected delustered satin in traditional white. Imported lace overlay the sculptured bodice, creating a crescent neckline and continuing into long, fitted sleeves, and the slender skirt was completed by a detachable train of the satin extending to chapel length. Her fingertip veil of illusion was held to the head by a cluster of satin petals and roses dotted with pearls.

Mr. and Mrs. Durling will live in Columbus, where the bridegroom, a graduate of the University of Nebraska, is stationed with the Forces. A student at the University of Nebraska, the bride is a member of Alpha Phi. Marriage has been made by Mr.
