At its final budget hearing Tuesday, the town council unanimously approved a tax rate of $2.5702 per $1,000 of taxable value for the 2011-2012 fiscal year from $2.5888 this year. Plans are under way for the school district and town to sign an agreement that would transform Cutler Centennial Middle School into a high school by the opening of fall 2012.
