Mr. and Mrs. Julius Kanne of Carroll and Mr. and Mrs. George Rublein of Winona are the couple's parents. The Rev. LaVern Trocinski officiated at the double ring wedding which opened with a parent's prayer read by the bride's mother. The groom's father read the petitions; other readers were Denise Dodgde and Maureen Doran. His brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. John Haldane and their daughter Maureen carried the offertory gifts. Mary Pat O'Brien of Minneapolis, Margaret Ann Schaefer of Milwaukee and Michael J. Conway of Winona were honor attendants. Other attendants were Debbie Rausch of St. Paul, Mary Donegan of Winona, the bride's brother, Stephen Kanne of Carroll, Doug Datta and Randy Lisowski of Winona. Ronald Meier and Michael Belden ushered. Organist was Sr. M. Cecily and vocalist, Sue Sehr of Minneapolis. A buffet was served to 175 guests at TAU Center, Assisi Hall, on the college campus after the wedding, and an evening cocktail and dancing party was held at St. Mary's College, Winona. The June 7 rehearsal dinner for 45 was in the Williams Hotel Red Room. Miss Kanne's A-line gown of white sheer crystal cream had long belled lantern sleeves and was trimmed with AJencon lace, as was her veii that was secured by a Camelot headpiece. She carried white roses. Her attendants' dresses of white sheer with velveray lilac print over orchid were worn with white picture hats trimmed in orchid and lilac. The bride is a graduate of Kuemper High School and of the College of St. Teresa, where she majored in fine arts and has been employed as an instructor in the Fine Arts Program. After a summer session at the University of Wisconsin she will continue her graduate course at Winona. Mr. Rublein is a biology major at the College of St. Teresa.
