If the above amendments are ratified by the people on the first Thursday in August, it will afford great rjlief to the people of the State, and if several more of thc proposed amendments had been passed by the legislature and submitted to the people we would have liked it a great deal better, but we are thankful for what we have got although candor compels us to say wo do not like the 6th of the above list.
