Sunday To Mark 5fh Anniversary Of Indian Shores Sunday. Indian Shores will enter its fifth year of existence, it was rex'eaicd last week by Craig C- Cook, general manager. Cook said Sunday is the fourth anniversary of the subdivision's formal opening.

During that period. Cook said almost $4 million in lot sales have been recorded for the Houston subdivision which is about three and a half miles south of Huffman Texas off FM -2100. Cook said the public is invited to participate in the celebration Sunday. Coffee and cake will be served to all comers, whether they are in the area to look at some lots or just happen to be passing by, Cook added. Indian Shores is generally regarded as one of the Houston -irea's most successful real estate ventures.

While the subdivision was once considered too far out for convenient commuting to the downtown area, the completion of freeways and limited access roads has put it within a 35 minute drive to almost all sections of northern, downtown, and southern Harris County, Cook said.
