Future Business: ABC-TV Asks new anti-secrecy laws SACRAMENTO (UPI) -Atty. Gen. Stanley Mosk, citing the Mt. San Jacinto Winter Park Authority, Friday asked Gov, Edmund G. Brown to allow legislative consideration of new anti-secrecy laws. Mosk made the request in letter accompanied by a clip- pmg f r 0 m a Riverside County newspaper (Enterprise). The story, dated April 1, said thatj the authority had announced it] would no longer permit the public or the press to attend its meetings. Mosk noted that the authority, which operates a tramway from Palm Springs to near the Mt Jacinto peak, was not covered by the state's Brown Act, which requires local public agencies to hold open meetings. Mosk called the situation "A shortcoming in our law."
