3 3 RLT THE NEWS AND N. Makeup Director Moves Up Stage Nancy Creuse thinks she will like being Peggy Evans for a couple of hours every night May 13 through 19. Miss Crouse is a teacher at Daniels Junior High School here. Miss Evans is a neighbor girl in "Come Blow Horn," the light comedy plays May wither 13 19 at the Raleigh I Littie Theater. It is the last show of this indoor season.

For Nancy Crouse, the Little Theater is no strange place, either backstage or on stage. For all this year, and part last year, she was makeup director. And, she played the part one of the Japanese girls in last year's RLT production of "A Majority Of One." This year, she was one of the dancers in the musical, "Bells Are Ringing." NANCY and had the part of Sally in "All The Way Home." the theater's last play. She'll hold down two jobs during "Come Blow Your Horn," playing the role of Peggy NANCY Evans and continuing as makeup director. "'We have wonderful makeup she explains, "and I'll just crew." a bit early each Miss Crouse likes the part of Peggy Evans, but isn't exactly sure why she does.

"Maybe it's because she accepts everything at face value," she muses. "She isn't playing a little game; she just doesn't know any better. 1 feel sorry for her because other people seem to think she is a kook, and you just want to help her. But, she seems entirely happy not knowing what the score is. "I am certain I'll enjoy very much being Peggy for two hours on the stage each night." Nancy Crouse remembers that her first time on stage came ing a church play, before she was even going to school, when she was an angel, "complete with wings," in her native Davidson County.

She did drama work in high school, and at East Carolina College active in the East Carolina Playhouse. She had roles in such shows use. "Blossom Time," and "DeStory." ecche was a memtective ber of touring choir, and did the choreography and costumes for extra bits on the choir's tours. She had some dance training in high school, in modern dance C.I ECC, and last summer dance workshop at Appalachiar State College in Boone The Theater's annual, membership campaign will be underway when Blow Your Horn" opens. New members who buy memberships for next year will receive as a bonus tickets to "Come Blow Your Horn."
