and Walter McDole, and E. O. McDole of Garfield, came to Muldrow last Saturday for a few days visit. A man, coming out of a barber shop one day this week said: are plenty of excuses for most things, but there is no excuse for a barber to use a dull razor and. a dirty towel.

He has plenty of time to sharpen his razors and wash his towels." It is said a man of 25 can recover from a bum in one night's sleep; at 35 he requires two nights to recover, and after a while he does not recover at all. A certain Muldrow man is just about to step into the "after-a-while" period. His friends have lost hope. There are several people right here in Muldrow that have seared consciences. Anyway they don't seem to ever think of the six or.sey en years they owe this paper on subscription.

Of coarse, you fellows that are behind only three, four, or of theEioueei-TelepLone-Ca. at this. place, went to Sallisaw yesterday to attend a meeting of the Pioneer Booster Club. Mr. Rogers says he likes to attend these meetings because they always have such a good time and the company foots the bill.

The Booster Club motto is: "Plan your work thoroughly and then thoroughly work your plan." The trouble with too many hired men is they over-estimate their importance. It a man is as capable as he thinks he is, he would not be a hired would be the boss of the shebang, instead of the hired man. Again, too many people are disloyal to their employer. They work only for their wages, and are constantlv looking for a chance to "cinch" the boss. This is what causes trouble between capital and labor.

The employe, who is always looking for a chance to do his employer a good turn, and who is not afraid of a little extra work when necessary, never complains of his wages, because his loyalty is never overlooked, and his wages are always Globe. The trade territory of a town is uot all dependent upon the distance to neighboring trading points. The trade territory depends upon the enterprise of the merchants and the residents of the town. If a town does not reach after the trade it will come only as fast as it has to, and will grow as it is forced But if the merchants go after business in the surrounding in every possible way, and making good every word of their advertising, trade will come from an ever- fjve years, don't need to take offense. We know that you intend to pay increasing town will gain a reputation for being awake and it will forge to the front.

It is the men in the town and not altogether the men living in a certain number of miles from it that makes tbe town good for I I I of today who does not possess a bank account is an exception. To no one is a checking accouut more of a luxury it solves the problem pf always having his money at hand, of making act change and receiving a receipt in return for the money paid. Some men'j even to this day, persist in carrying a roll of currency on their persons they are the ones we usually read of in the papers as having been "held up" and robbed. A bank account is the best burglarly insurance you can have. This bank wants your will appreciate prove it.
