An outift in red and white awning stripes was called a Mack Sennett and looked like the bathing suits that Bebe Daniels and Mable Normand used to wear in the silent era.

Slacks were either plastered to the skin and flowing into bell bottoms or perfectly straight and somewhat wider than last years. Alex Coleman fashioned his slacks perfectly straight, but above one and a half inches wider overall. The most seductive clothes were in the at-home outfits. Alex Coleman showed wide, flowing, harem trousers in vibrant prints. One ensemble had a Persian-quilted floor-length skirt with a sash-tied blouse which picked np one of leather belt.
