He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Winifred; and brother Billy. Don was born July 17, 1937 in Eureka. He was a graduate from Eureka High School and Emporia State University. Don was an Underwriter manager at EMC Insurance for years. He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Thelma Marhenke. She was the sixth of nine children of Henry and Rose (Guedry) Montecino. as she liked to be called, was born July 25, 1921 in Baton Rouge, LA and entered the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1939.

She received a B.S. from Loyola New Orleans, M.A. from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. As an educator, she taught at St. Rose in New Orleans; St.

Joseph Academy, Bay St. Louis, MS; McNicholas High, Cincinnati, High, New Roads, LA and was principal at St. Joseph Academy, Baton Rouge and Catholic High, New Roads LA. Her second ministry was Social and pastoral at St. Joseph the Worker Parish in New Orleans and Immaculate Conception Parish, Denham Springs, LA.

About this time in her life, said, find myself to be a faith leader among people who are in many stages of spiritual In 2007, she retired to Wichita, KS, the Congregation of St. Marian Hall where she continued her service in prayer and acceptance of ill health. He loved his farm, fishing and watching his birds. Marvin was a member of Joppa Masonic Lodge in Leon and Midian Shrine. He had served on the Leon City Council and previously was mayor of Leon. On July 6, 1956 at he married Jewel (Hansen) Beaumont who survives him. He is also survived by: daughter, Jacque McCandlis of Leon; granddaughter Jami Lee Snider and husband Joe; great grandchildren, Veronica and Samantha; sister-in-law Joan Beaumont and three nieces.
