Located in the state of Alagoas in Brazil, Marechal Deodoro is home to 39,000 residents and is known for its lace making and folk dance groups. This city adoption process is Herald part of Bay Harbor Island's role in Sister Cities International, an organization that encourages exchanges between the United States and other nations.

Ballet depicts U.S. history Miami City Ballet Director Edward Villella presents the world premiere of The Neighborhood Ballroom at the Jackie Gleason Theater of the Performing Arts, 1700 Washington Miami Beach.
