--T The private car of the general manager of the Iniercolohial Railway, of Canada, was in Norlina Wednesday en route to Pinehurst with a party to spend sometime at this winter resortl: Capt. H. L. Bobbitt the misfortune to get the small bOne in his left arm broken while railroading near Alberta on Dec 26. Capt.

Bobbitt is able to get about and hopes soon to get back to work. By reason of the putting on of the Florida Limited train the Seaboard Air Line made a few minor changes in the schedules of their regular passenger trains passing Norlina which went into effect Sunday. The corrected schedule appears in this issue. Death of an Aged Lady, Miss Mary Lewis Stegall, age 62 years, died at the home, of Mr. and Mrs.

J. W. Divine last Saturday night after having been a sufferer with cancer for a long time. 1 The deceased was a member of Mt. Auburn church and it was there that her body was buried on Monday.

Mr. Hicks' was running a motor car and as he was entering the town of Littleton an automobile, for some cause unknown, suddenly stop ped on a railroad crossing and the motor car struck the automobile throwing Mr. Hicks to the ground, Where he was picked up in an unconscious condition, but fortunately no serious harm was done. Mr. E.

V. Barbee was riding the car with Mr. Hicks but i escaped with just a little fright. The front part of the automobile was right badly damaged, but fortunately those in the car were not hurt. Meeting of Stockholders.

The Stockholders of the Warren Co-Operative Association Co. held their annual meeting in the court house at Warrenton Monday, Jan. 4th. The following of ficers and directors were re-elec ted 1 Prof. John Graham, presi dent: H.

E. Rod well and Nor wood Boyd, directors. J. R. Robinson was elected as a direc tor to succeed J.

F. Hunter. After the meeting of the stock holders there was a meeting of the Board of Directors, and the following were: present: Prof. John Graham, president; H. E.

Rod well, R. S. Register, L. H. Hawks and J.

R. Robinson. Ed Blalbck was elected by the board to fsucceed W. A. Connell as manager of the business, and the company will continue their store in Teacher Now, children, name some of the lower animals, starting with Willie Jones.
