The members also brought canned goods that will be placed in baskets for a needy family.

Miss Betty Luerssen of Salisbury Cove, formerly of Elsah, will arrive December 21 the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs! Frank Luerssen, who reside on The Principia College campus, where she will remain for the Christmas-New Year holidays. Dr. and Mrs. E. S. Leonard left Genoa by boat for the United States, following three months in Europe, Sunday.

Dr. and Mrs. Leonard are expected to arrive December 23 in New York, and from there will leave for St. Louis where they will be met by their son, Robert, and family of Elsah, who will accompany them by automobile to their home in Notch- cliff apartments on The Principia College campus. Dr.

Dean Hurst of the United Statea Navy, stationed at Cincinnati, is spending the holidays with his wife and sister, Mrs. John Osterman, at the home of Mrs. Osterman, on Tulane avenue. While Hurst is in service Mrs. Hurst is making her home in Grafton.
