J. Oliver and Son, of Wichita, were guests of the Plaza Hotel several days. They are buying sheep here to feed for the Kansas City market. They were shipping from the slock pens here Wednesday. M.

B. Goldenberg Co. received a bunch of fine bucks Wednesday which have been sold to the neighboring ranchmen. There were iso head of them, bought from Cris Schlater of Clayton. Mr.

Schlater one of the wealthy sheep ownem of northeast New Mexico. Mrs. A. K. Carter, wife of our post master, who has been visiting at Hot Springs, for a month is expected home today.

Miss Buchanan, daughter of W. F. Buchanan, cashier of the First National Bank, who accompanied Mrs Carter will remain for a longer visit. Mrs. C.

II. Herring, wife of Dr. Herring of Lake Arthur. Eddy county, came in Saturday. The family is moving to Tu cumcari, their household goods now being en route here.
