inauguration of Governor Jack Walton in condemning his every move and appointment without giving either the Governor or his appointees a chance to make good taking for granted that he is a failure as an executive and that his appointees are appointed for the purpose of assisting the Governor in establishing a soveit government in this state with Jack Walton as Dictator surrounded with satellites waiting and willing to do the biddings without questioning the right or wrong thereof but with only the one idea to establish soveit rule in a sovereign state of this great Nation at the expense and to the detriment of Democracy and the rights of those who are fighting to maintain the fundamental principles of a government for the people and by the people This idea and the tactics being used are wrong Walton is governor of Oklahoma by the vote of a majority of the citizens of this great 1 Commonwealth and he should not be handicapped by the condemnation of the people without a fair trial and a fair measure of justice being with the prevalent criticism This is directly against the funds- mental principles of Democracy We fearlessness in carrying out do not say that the Governor has used as a Publc offlclal to com good judgment in all of his appointments or that his administration is without a taint of Socialism Non Partisan Leaguism or Radicalism but we think that he should be given a chance to prove l)ig exact position his real intent towards good government real democracy and the great majority of the voters of the State who made him by their vote the chief Executive of Oklahoma We most emphatically say that should be given a chance to demonstrate his worth integrity and loyalty before we utterly condemn him as a red-card socialist an inner-circle nonpartisan leaguer or a politician who is using every or any means to advance his own political career Governor Walton cannot destroy the democratic party of this state neither can he fool the people for any length of time but he can yet make us a good governor and prove that he is a real governor representing the people the democratic party and the best interest of this state Give the Governor a chance to make good condemn him without a real trial If he then fails to measure up to the standard set by the fundamentals of the great party of which he is supposed to be the standard-bearer in this state then we will also enter our protest and condemnation This is a democratic state that will never be the plaything of any individual or soveit mismanagement for any length of time but will continue a sovereing state true to the principles that are the foundation of our Nation We may stray away and worship idols for a while but the citizenship of Oklahoma will not for long desert the democratic teachings of Jefferson and Jackson him receives careful when he decides whether or worthy of prosecution he for what he thinks is right to the individual and society saved many dollars for the of this county by
