"We shu-ah do" they replied in their lovely Southern accents "and we can't thank you enough Mr Majors" Chuck stiffened but I whisked the girls away before anything further could be said After we got the girls back to their hotel we returned to Chuck 's His price had was $5 an hour He wasn't joking li ii CHARLES BRILES Not Lee Majors THE CLERK cashed the check "Of course" she bab By BILL MMIAN 71IOLLYWOOD (Spl) 'Charles Briles is a 25-year-old -television actor whom you've probably never heard of He's played i any small os roles in maZ ett Vi jor TV shows 1 I in clu ding i ti: a nza" but his long- lasting claim to ki- i nescopic im- BILL mortality MAHAN was the role of Eugene Barbara Stanwyck's youngest son in "The Big Valley" A TV series used to be good for 39 shows a season Now they're down to 13 in some cases Writer directors producers and actors are all feeling the pinch At one low point after the series Briles had just landed a job as a soda jerk when he received a fan letter asking him how it was being a big actor More recently he's turned to screenwriting I just hired him at approximately $2 an hour to write a television Script I'm now in the process of trying to raise financing 'for the project viii: Izici )4: 1 I i NI 0 :17 GONIER tir Al D4 IIIIIFIMI WAR GRE AT Essig is 0014 0 sst Go vo 0 9 0 st 1' 1 sosoil's 0 A 11111115 SALLE DO MMINIIIMME IINPO1111160 41 "LIBRARY CENTER" "LIBRARY CENTER" EXCITING MEW MEDITERRANEAN STYLING Great!
